Aurélie Bambuck is an author, director and journalist. She has worked for Radio France, France Inter and France Info Her parents, Roger Bambuck and Ghislaine Barnay, are among the pioneering West Indian Olympians. Her mother was the first woman from Martinique to be selected for the Olympics. Her father was the first and only French sprinter to hold the 100 m world record. She is a daughter of champions who preferred the feather to the spikes. Her parents lived their story in the great history of the world, that of a couple united by the Olympic rings.
