For several centuries, the navigable Adour was a route used by an important inland waterway industry, which had to be built. Sophie Lefort-Lehmann, a specialist in fluviomaritime heritage, organizes her talk around three questions: where did the timber needed for construction come from, who were the know-how holders and where did they work?
Following the discussions, Chantal Boone and Sophie Lefort-Lehmann present and sign their latest book, "L'Adour, quand les objets parlent des hommes".
