Category I classification (French Tourist Offices)

Since 2025, the Kiwi Valley Tourist Office has been classified as category I and belongs to the network of Tourist Offices of France.

QUALITY TOURISM™

"Thinking about quality of service, experience and customer satisfaction"

The QUALITE TOURISME™ label, created by the French Ministry of Tourism, is a guarantee of trust and quality of service. The label is awarded following an audit conducted every five years.

As a holder of the label since December 2012, the Kiwi Valley Tourist Office is committed to:

  • a personalized welcome;
  • qualified, clear, and precise information;
  • competent and attentive staff;
  • a comfortable environment;
  • taking your feedback into account and handling your complaints;
  • continuously improving our services and amenities.
     

SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

Committed to a Sustainable Tourism approach with the Adour Landes Océanes region, the Kiwi Valley Tourist Office is committed to preserving and promoting the environment. 

The Sustainable Tourism Charter commits the Tourist Office to :

  • reducing waste production
  • preserving water resources
  • reducing energy consumption
  • raising awareness among staff and customers
  • promoting biodiversity
     

Our commitments to visitors

The Tourist Office has set itself the following commitments to its visitors:

  • Comply with the requirements of the Qualité Tourisme label.
  • Facilitate access to its premises by improving signage and accessibility.
  • Greet customers upon arrival.
  • Welcome them in a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Provide prompt responses to requests.
  • Inform, advise, and answer questions as accurately as possible.
  • Provide up-to-date information.
  • Promote its partners' tourist offerings.
  • Offer tourist and practical information about the Pays d'Orthe et Arrigans and its surrounding areas.
  • Raise awareness of sustainable development.
  • Display most of the local tourist attractions outdoors so that customers can consult them during office hours.
  • Offer documentary materials in foreign languages..

 

Our commitments to socio-professionals

The Tourist Office's priority is to support service providers in its region.

Several initiatives are being developed to support socio-professionals:

The implementation of personalized services: assistance with classification, certification, the use of digital tools, professional development, etc.

The dissemination of information tailored to their needs: sending professional newsletters, access to an online professional space and a physical space (Partners Center), visits to service providers, the opportunity to participate in annual partner meetings, etc.

Support for project leaders: connecting with relevant contacts, visits, advice, etc.
