Just 10 minutes from Bidache and Peyrehorade, and close to Bayonne along the Adour river, Lac de Sames is located in the Sharnègou region.
The 18-hectare lake has been approved for bathing, and is supervised by qualified staff. The lake has been listed in the national inventory since 1992 for the excellent quality of its water. A sandy beach, waterslides and an aquatic course structure are available for ages 4 to 11. Walks around the lake are free in the off-season. Picnic tables. On-site ski-lift (wakeboard, kneeboard, snowboard) and fishing (carp, pike, sturgeon, blackbass, roach), on-site catering. Chalets for hire on the estate.
