For 3 generations, we've been making foie gras and smoking salmon in Peyrehorade, in the Pays d'Orthe. The history of Maison Barthouil is closely linked to this region of the southern Landes, where the Pyrenean Gaves meet. Here, the soil is fertile, the corn plentiful and the rivers cold and turbulent. Today, proud of their origins, the Barthouil family are more determined than ever to showcase this land through their traditional know-how and the unique taste of their products.
